Elvis Perkins has taken us from the darkened lonely corners, to the place that causes our cells to shimmer, and now he’s given us something to keep our bodies warm during the winter months: a brand new YBP tee. We’ve done it a little bit differently this time around. We asked Elvis to describe his t-shirt, as he imagines it. He came up with this beautifully cryptic description:

‘Anything with natural or animal imagery I think one can’t go too wrong with and the wearers and seers of t-shirts can’t be reminded enough that we are not alone on the earth. Have we seen a hummingbird trying to drink from the bell of a horn blown by a shadow or a ghost? Probably. Bees I’d say are something to think about as well. And there’s always the Moon.’

We then turned to the brilliant illustrator Ben Chlapek, from neversleeping.com, who used this passage as inspiration for the t-shirt you seen before you.

Elvis is donating all of the profits from the sale of this t-shirt to the World Wildlife Fund.
