I was surfing through this awesome website from Yale Graduate Stewart Smith, and I came across this strange project, where he remixes my favourite Emily Haines song, Winning (last track off her solo album -Knives Don’t Have Your Back). But this is no ordinary remix… In fact, it’s not really much a remix at all! It’s more of an art project of sorts.

As Steward describes it:  ‘A melancholy Tin Man voice has been added under Emily’s at the one minute mark for the line “Open your chest and take the heart from it.” This project includes distributing the remix under the guise that it is the original. It is an exmaple of an anonymous passive injection into the greater pool’.

Weird, no? Something tells me this guy is brilliant.
