The Hometown Launch
Montreal. Where this all began for all of us, and I guess now where it ends. We concluded our Indie Rock Coloring Book tour in our home city of Montreal, on Labour Day weekend. It began with a daytime launch event at the Drawn & Quarterly Bookstore, on Bernard Street. This fun-filled afternoon was low key and family friendly, with adults, teenagers, and children – brownies, cookies, and juice - and lots of coloring. And, a very special acoustic solo performance from Murray Lightburn, of The Dears.
For a full review of the event, read this terrific review by Christine Lariviere, from ‘Midnight Poutine’.
The Middle Distance Runner, chilling outside the Drawn & Quarterly bookshop.
A crowd of all ages, eagerly anticipating the performance of Mr. Lightburn.

The After Party took place in the evening in conjunction with SNAP Magazine @ SNAP’s loft. Yet again, it was another coloring adventure, bringing the Indie Rock Coloring Book to life with mystery punch, and other party delights.

THANK YOU – to all of you who came out to these events. It meant the world. Keep up the colouring!
