YBP Movember Chronicles
Are you willing to grow a moustache for charity? YBP wants to recruit YOU!
As we mentioned last year in our “Indie Rock Moustaches” blog entry, November 1st marks the beginning of a month-long moustache growing event; a symbolic union which raises awareness and funds for men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer and depression.
We are looking for ONE candidate. Someone who wants to use the YBP platform to spotlight their efforts. We will send you some wicked cool YBP gear and in exchange we will ask you to blog (over here!) chronicling your plight for moustache stardom.
Here’s how it will work:
1. You register yourself as a fundraiser on Movember.com.
2. We set you up as a YBP blogger and you provide updates once a week, with photographs, anecdotes, reactions, testimonials, information about the cause that you’re supporting, how much money you’ve raised, etc.
3. If, by the end of this one month period, you’ve been able to raise $500.00 then YBP will reward EVERYONE with one day of FREE SHIPPING!
If this isn’t enough of an incentive for you to nominate yourself, then maybe this is.
Interested? Let us know how you intend to change the world with your moustache, either by commenting below, or by emailing us at info@yellowbirdproject.com.

Hi
Just spotted your request for a Movember volunteer, now I’m not normally a lime light hugger, so I wouldn’t normally do this, but if you’ve had no-one volunteer I would put myself forward as I am already doing Movember and would do anything to try and help raise more awareness or cash for what is a great cause.
Last year I raised £370 all on my own and loved doing so, as at the time I was out of work and it was nice to have a purpose for a month.
This year though Movember is scaring me, as I am in a job, in a new company, in a new environment, so I don’t know how they will react to this sudden growth of Mo. Will be mocked or up held as a hero for my sacrifice, only time will tell, but I intend to get them all thinking about Movember.
best regards
Martin
